Glenn Hollis, 83, of Jasper, died January 1, 2002 at his residence. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM today at Memorial Cemetery in Jasper under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM today at the Funeral Home.
A native of Trevat, he was a lifelong resident of Jasper, Owner and Operator of Hollis Tires and a World War II U S Army Veteran.
Survivors include sons, G. M. "Buddy" Hollis and M. L. "Butch" Hollis, both of Jasper; daughters, Peggy Hollis Dougharty and Sue Hollis Gee, both of Jasper, brothers, Crit Hollis and Burl Hollis, both of Huntsville, Jay Hollis of Humble, Mack Hollis of Spring and Wilbur Hollis of Houston; sister, Lillie Faye Fowler of Carthage; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
