"TRIPLET SURVIVORS CELEBRATE BIRTHDAY
Grover C. Adams, 414 12the NW, and his sister, Mrs. Nettie Clay of Lubbock, celebrated their 83rd birthday here Wednesday. They are the two surviving members of the Adams triplets. Their sister, Mrs. Cora comer of Plainview, Tex., died last November.

When the triplets were born in McKinney, Tex., the only boy was named for Grover Cleveland who was president at that time. President Cleveland wrote the parents a letter of congratulation. The family moved to Provence in 1892 and Adams has lived in Carter County since that time."

"GROVER C. ADAMS, SR.
Funeral services for Grover C. Adams, Sr. will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the first Baptist Church. Dr. Richard T. Hopper will officiate assisted by Rev. William L. Waye. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. He died here Thursday.

Adams, of 414 12 Ave. NW, was born Aug. 5, 1887, at Terrell, Tex., and was a pioneer school teacher in Carter County. He married Mayme Surber at Duncan, Jan. 31, 1957.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Ardmore Masonic Lodge A.F. and A.M. No 31 and McAlester Consistory. He was a 32 degree mason.

Bearers will be Lester Dennis, Ed Blalock, George Connely, Raymond Colvert, Jr., Jess Sloan and Bill Aishman.

Survivors include his wife, Mayme, of the home; three sons; Kermit, Ardmore, G.C. Jr., and Clyde "Dick," both of Edmont; one step-son, Wesley Coffman, Duncanville, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Carruth, Midland, Tex., Mrs. Jurhee Shuymard, Las Cruce, N.M., and Mrs. Clara Sloan, Ardmore; one sister, Mrs. Nettie clay, Lubbock, Texas; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Bettes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."
