The daughter of Robert Marlow Cone and Mary Jackson Hylton Cone, Sarah Robert Cone Harrison was born July 2, 1845 in Ivanhoe, Bulloch County, Georgia and had six siblings. Her father died the month after her birth. Through the Cone branch of the family, she was descended from Conn of the Hundred Battles, the first high king of Ireland.

In 1872 she married Daniel Thomas Harrison, and they moved to Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia. They had six children: Margaret Ann Harrison, Mary Maude Harrison, Anna Sylvania Harrison, Susan Lela Harrison, Lizzie Anna Harrison, and Willie Harrison.

Sarah was a descendant of Revolutionary War hero William Cone. Her heritage was Scots and English. I hope one of her descendants will add her photo to this site. Sarah died at age 83 on November 29, 1928 in Savannah. She is buried in Savannah's Laurel Grove Cemetery North in lot 2638.
