JOHN EDWIN THOMAS

John Edwin Thomas, age 63, died at his residence, 2202 North 28th Street at 1:25 a.m. Friday.

He is survived by his widow; eight sons, James E. , Malaone E. and Toby, all of Roscoe, John W. of Bryan, M. E. and Robert of Fort Worth and Jack; two daughters, Mrs. M. C. Lewis of Roby and Mrs. W. E. Armstrong of Fort Worth; three sisters, Mrs. W. E. Stevens of La Junta, Colo., Mrs. L. Q. Hill of Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. Maggie Clark of Houston; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

His body shipped to Roscoe at 10:20 p.m. Friday for funeral service and interment. Shannon's North Side Funeral Home in charges.
