Roscoe - Nancy Alice Carlile, 80, died at 5:40 a.m. Thursday in Colorado City's Root Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Chapel of Memories in Sweetwater. The body will lie in state at Roscoe until early Saturday morning. The Rev. Glenn Roenfeldt of Colorado City and the Rev. Clarence Monton of Loraine will officiate. Burial will be in the Roscoe Cemetery.
Born Jan. 9, 1902 in Lamar County, she married C. W. Carlile on Oct. 17, 1922 in Roscoe. She had lived in Roscoe for over 50 years.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Charles of Sweetwater; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Rankin of Loraine; two brothers, C. N. Geron and J. T. Geron, both of Sweetwater; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
