Accidentally shot by his five year old brother with the father's shotgun. The boys were playing with the gun, thinking they were using used shells. One wasn't. The mother was slightly injured. Dr's. Phillips and Houston were unable to save Clifford. Rev. Ogden officiated at the funeral at the family home.
