Mrs. Masters passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at her home in Tyler.
She was born March 14, 1924 in Diboll to George and Clarice (Thomas) Hughs.
Juanita and her husband raised their family in Odessa, Texas and retired to Jacksonville in 1984.
While living in Jacksonville, she was a member of Rusk Church of Christ and was a member of the hospital auxiliary. In 2010, she moved to Tyler where she was a member of West Erwin Church of Christ. She loved to travel, sew, and serve others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dalton Rudolph Masters; three brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include her son, Reed Masters of Odessa; daughter, Danita Alfred and husband Gary of Tyler; grandchildren, Lisa Armstrong and husband Travis, Monte Masters and wife Julee, Jared Alfred, and Brooke Alfred. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Brance Armstrong, Bailey Armstrong, Abbey Masters, Brett Masters, Chad Masters; and lots of nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Benny Masters and Betty. She was privileged to have two special companions, Cindy Beddingfield and Barbara Schmucker.
