Service for Violet A. Hance, 90, of Grand Prairie will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, Mar. 31, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Dwain Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Violet A. Hance passed away Saturday, Mar. 26, 2016 in Grand Prairie. She was born May 18, 1925 in Dodson to Marshall and Maude Nicholson Binkley. She married James Elmore Hance on March 30, 1946 in San Diego, CA and he preceded her in death in 1993.
Mrs. Hance was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
Survivors include her four sons, Mark Hance and wife Janet of Chapel Hill, NC, Steve Hance and wife Nancy of Monroe, NC, Douglas Hance and wife Nancy of Houston, and Clyde Hance and wife Beth of Hillsborough, NC; four daughters, Barbara Hance of Hillsborough, NC, Betty Moreland and husband Mike of Houston, Robbie Petitfils and husband Steve of Center Point, TX, and Sheri Tomancik and husband Richard of Grand Prairie; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three sisters, June Woodard, Sharon McGeehee and Tommie Breidenbaugh; brother, Kenneth Binkley; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and grandson, Noah Z. Moreland.
