Grace Perkins Smedley, 81, passed away September 2 in a Salt Lake City hospital.

She was born February 15, 1898, in Montpelier to John and Ann Maria Bunney Perkins. She married Alfred T. Smedley March 25, 1919 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include a son, Ralph A., Harrodsburg, Ky., daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Ann) Nelson, Salt Lake City, sister, Mrs. David (Ruth) Merrill, Salt Lake City, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held September 6 at 11 a.m. in the Larkin Mortuary. Interment was in the Redwood Memorial Estates.
