He married CeLesta Engelman 15 Dec 1898 in Walnut, Pottawattamie, Iowa.
Their 12 children include: infant Charles and 110-year-old Hazel Davis.

Allegedly there is no cemetery record of Robert's burial here; however, since this is where he died, there is no reason to believe otherwise [see obit, below left!]. The family likely didn't have money for a marker. He may have been an indigent burial.
His death certificate, completed by daughter Mary, indicates burial at Tingley (1 mile north of town, specifically)
