Olive Pearcy Dixon, 77, daughter of Baxter and Leota Sanders Pearcy, was born June 7, 1919, at Roubidoux. She died Aug. 7, 1996, at her home in Houston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; one brother, John Pearcy; and two sisters, Mae Thomas and Edna Wallace.
Surviving are one daughter, Laura Lee Tate of Raymondville; two sons, Bill of Springfield and Jim of Houston; four sisters, Helen Huff of Success, Amy Bamhart of Plato, Gladys Shelhammer of Houston and Myrtle Pearcy of Success; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were Aug. 9 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial was in the Big Creek Cemetery.
