She was born on August 13, 1900 in the Marathon County Town of Berlin to the late William and Bertha Kneiss Schuster. She married Martin Brunow on August 11, 1923 in the Town of Berlin.
Alma was a housewife and homemaker, and enjoyed gardening, flowers, and quilting. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Town of Naugart.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris Kelm, St. Paul, MN and Elvira (Ervin) Seager, Merrill; a sister in law, Alice Hass, Wausau; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin in 1992; two sisters; three brothers; and a great-grandson.
Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon, October 7, 1995 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Naugart. The Rev. Allen Lonnquist officiated, burial was in the St. Paul's Cemetery, Town of Berlin.
The Taylor Funeral Home of Merrill was in charge of the arrangements.
