James Wilson Agnew, the 4th of eight sons born to Samuel Andrew and Malinda [née Dodson] Agnew, was married to Miss Elizabeth Dorilla Richey, daughter of William and Elizabeth [née Cowan] Richey, in 1836. This union had the following known children:
