Mr. William Earl Alexander fondly known as “Jack” died peacefully on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in Llano, Texas at the age of 93.

Jack was born on December 24, 1922 in Lone Grove, Texas to William Guy Alexander and Edna Lenore Rogers. He married Lena, his childhood sweetheart on September 17, 1942.

Jack worked for Convair (which became General Dynamics Corporation then Lockheed Martin Corporation) in White Settlement, Texas as a Class A machinist for 25 years.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife Lena Belle Lockhart Brabaw of Llano, Texas; daughter Phyllis Alexander, son Gary Guy Alexander, sister Mercelle Lenore Howard and companion of 30 years Alma Moore.

Jack is survived by his children Marcia Allen of Rio Llano, Texas; Jean Daltwas of Lyman, South Carolina; William Earl Alexander Jr. of Llano, Texas; and sister Bobbie Jean Moore and husband Jim Moore of Kingsland, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren Alan Minter, Greg Minter, Kenny Minter, Lisa Heatherly, Eddie Daltwas, Vinnce Castro, Gidget Castro, Angel Kullenberg, Chris Minter and Jayme Kuhn, 16 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Parky.

His children remember him as a compassionate man and loving father who encouraged them to pursue their goals and show kindness to others. He was a US Army veteran and donated much of his time helping other veterans. Jack also served as a deacon of the First Baptist Church in Everman, Texas.
