Maggie Alma McClure, age 89, native and lifelong resident of Union county, GA, passed away Friday, July 1, 2005 in the Union General Hospital in Blairsville.
Mrs. McClure was born Friday June 2, 1916 in Union county, GA to the late Robert & Martha(Flowers)Rich.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. McClure was preceded in death by her husband, Willie McClure.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Ivor Jean and Larry McCollum of Blairsville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 3, 2005 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville with Rev. Clyde Coleman and Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Music was supplied by Bethlehem Baptist Church Choir. Burial was in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen as Pallbearers: David Stokes, Roy Hefner, Larry McCollum, Jacks Dillard, Joe Dillard and Richard Tamer.
