Mr. Noble Dunaway, 68, of D’Iberville, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on March 16, 2016 to be once again reunited with his mother and father whom he adored.

For most of his working career, Noble worked for various construction companies building concrete products to construct many bridges and roads, to include not only many in our immediate area, but also to include many in other parts of Mississippi as well as surrounding states. During these many endeavors Noble acquired many friends, all special to him and some he felt “as brothers.” As he would say to all of you “Later” accompanied by his special hand salute.

Mr. Dunaway was preceded in death by his parents, Toxie and Christine Dunaway; his father/mother-in-law, Jessey and Eunice Thibodeaux.

Mr. Dunaway leaves behind to share fond, happy and proud memories as well as overwhelming love, his loving partner and wife of 37 years, Darlene Dunaway; his “babies”, “loves” and the reasons he was proudest his daughters, Catrina(Rob) Hairston, Marisa(Zak) Hankins, Christy(Mike) Perilleaux; and the “twinkles in his eyes”, his grandchildren, John “Mikey” McDonnell, Kelsey Norton, Gracie Hankins, Tymalynn, Emily and Zach Templeton.

Mr. Dunaway is also survived by his brother, Shelby(Shirley) Dunaway and sister Dana(Wayne) Brown; brother-in-law’s Jessey “Moochie” Thibodeaux, Ernie(Debbie) Thibodeaux and sister-in-law Marlene(Marty) Sczepaniak. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins, all of which for their own reasons were special to him.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Brian Persing, his nurse Mindy, as well as all office staff for their care of Noble aka “Croc Dundee”.

Our family would like to express to the Hospice of Light team (Catfish, Stephanie, Shonda and Latoya) our love and utmost genuine gratitude for the excellent care given to Noble as well as us during this most difficult situation we have faced by far. Your extreme compassionate caring, understanding, help and professionalism will live in our hearts forever. We were blessed by all. Thank you (words not just said to be saying something) but sincerely said from our hearts to all family and friends for the prayers, thoughts, monetary giving, food and visits. No gesture ever went unnoticed.

Watch over us Daddy. Yes we will be talking about you and loving you forever.
Services will be held Monday, March 21, 2016 starting 6 P.M. at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services.
