Mr. Clyde (C.T.) Tesh Clinard, age 87, a resident of Tom Hedrick Rd., passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 in High Point Regional Hospital.

He was born September 18, 1928 in Davidson Co., NC, son of the late Stamey Clinard and Mary Jane Armsworthy Clinard.

Mr. Clinard was a supervisor with Western Electric Co. and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a major with the US National Guard with more than thirty years of service. He was a member of West End United Methodist Church, where he formerly served as a Sunday School Superintendant, various committees at the church, and sang with the church choir. He also served as a past president of the Civitan Club.

Mr. Clinard was preceded in death by his parents; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Dean Clinard and Barbara Clinard; one granddaughter, Leigh Anna Clinard; and two brothers, Rev. Billy Clinard and Rev. Robert Clinard.

Mr. Clinard was married on July 2, 1954, to Miriam Hightower Clinard who survives of the home. Also surviving are two sons, Lonnie Clinard and wife Lana of Thomasville, and Phillip Clinard and wife Patty of High Point; one brother, Rev. Hubert Clinard and wife Sarah of Stanley, NC; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at West End United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
