Mrs. Rebecca Jane Beamer, aged 89 years, died at 7:45 pm yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Richard H. Lee, 619 West Second street, of complications which followed a fall suffered two weeks ago where her hip was fractured. She was born March 10, 1835, at Core Forge, PA, daughter of John and Rachel Potter.
In 1861 she married Henry Clay Beamer, who died 29 years ago.
She lived in Franklin the past 17 years, during which time she had been a member of the Grace M. E. church.
Surviving are children, Mrs. Arthur Moore of Whiting, IN, Frank P. Beamer of Los Angeles, CA, And Mrs. Richard H. Lee of Oil City; grandchildren Frances and J. Wilson Lee of Oil City, Clarence M. Moore and Mrs. E. E. McMahon of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Clifford R Moore, Regina, Canada, Frank A. Moore, Whiting, IN, Leland P. Beamer, SIstersville, WV, Bonita Beamer, Los Angeles, CA; and eight great-grandchildren.
