Former Alderman and Supervisor of the 10th Ward Dies

HENRY CHAPMAN
Will be buried Thursday.
Henry M. Chapman, 76, former Tenth Ward alderman and County Supervisor, died this morning at St. Mary's hospital in Milwaukee.
Mr. Chapman, a lifelong resident, was employed by the J. I. Case Co., and had been active in church, civic and political circles for many years. He served as a member of the county board from 1925 to 1932, and as an alderman from 1934 to 1936, was a member of St. Mary's Church and Holy Name Society.
Surviving Mr. Chapman are his wife, Catherine; five daughters, Lillian at home, Mrs. Frank Lindau, Mrs. John Fahey, Mrs. Leo Talty and Mrs. Chester Audenby; six grandchildren, three sisters and a brother, all of Racine.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8:30 am in the Beffel Mortuary and at 9 am in St. Mary's Church, Rev Anthony Erz officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery on Kinzie Avenue. Friends may call Tuesday evening and until service time at Beffel's.
