Age 87. Passed away Oct. 22 at home. She was born in Racine, Feb. 22, 1862 and had lived here all her life. Mrs. Chapman was the widow of the late Henry Chapman. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Christian Mother's Society. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Hattie Lindau, Miss Lillian Chapman, Mrs. Irene Fahey, Mrs. Madeline Talty and Mrs. Ida Audenby, all of Racine; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Smith, Mrs. Elizabeth Boland, Mrs. Lucy Ruggaber and Mrs. Millie Mills, all of Racine and Mrs. Florence Anheuser of Milwaukee; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Westrich; two brothers, Ernie and Fred Cook, both of Racine; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 9 am at the Beffel and Acklam Funeral Home and 9:30 am at St. Mary's church, Rev. John Stehling officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Holy Cross Cemetery on Kinzie Ave. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday afternoon and evening. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home 8 pm Monday.
