DEATH AT MUMFORD
Mrs. Fannie Carmel, wife of Howard Carmel died Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George McCombs, Jr,. A stroke of paralysis Sunday was the cause of her death. She had lived in this vicinity most of her life. She is survived by her husband and six children. Mrs. McCombs of this place, a daughter at Lyons, and the others living at Rochester. The funeral will be held Friday at 2:30 p. m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. McCombs. Interment in Mumford Rural Cemetery.

Mrs. Frances Carmel,
who died at Mumford on October
10th, aged 67 years, was a daughter
of the late Mrs. Abram Bovee and
for many years was a member of the
Stone Church society. She is survived
by three sons, William, Dayton
and Norman, all of Rochester; three
daughters, Mrs. Irving Wetherby of
Lyons, Mrs. Peter Threehouse of
Rochester and Mrs. George Mc-
Combs of Mumford; a brother, Jacob
Bovee of Richford, Tioga county, and
two sisters, Mrs. William Johnson of
Riga and Mrs. Estella Cooper of
Rochester.
