On October 12, 1854, an ORPHANS' COURT SALE appeared in the Wayne County Herald, Honesdale, Pennsylvania. A sale was to occur the 15th of November on the premises in Damascus, "the Real Estate, late the Estate of Parks Baird, deceased, in Damascus township." Included were three parcels, containing eighty two acres, 91 acres, and 125 acres more or less. The notice was posted by Cornelius Baird, Adm'r of Parks Baird, dec'd. ~In The End...
