Louie Elmer Ardis, 81, husband of Carrie Lee Scott Ardis, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Born October 8, 1934, in Pinewood, he was a son of the late Henry Cornelius Ardis and the late Eva Ardis Ardis. He was a retired technical sergeant with the US Air Force and he was a member of Pinewood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Laurie Tobias; and six brothers, Leslie Ardis, Marion “Mack” Ardis, Russell Ardis, William “Bill” Ardis, Wilbur Ardis and Melvin Ardis.
