Marion McBeth "Mack" Ardis, 87, widower of Mary Hobson Ardis, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at a local nursing center.
Born in Pinewood, he was a son of the late Henry Cornelius Ardis and the late Eva Ardis. Mr. Ardis was a member of Sumter First Church of the Nazarene and a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Laurie Tobias; and four brothers, Leslie Ardis, Russell Ardis, William "Bill" Ardis and Melvin Ardis.
