MADISON TWP. — Wayne “Farmer” Baugh, age 87, of Madison Township passed away Feb. 3, 2013, at home.
He was born July 23, 1925, in Adrian, the son of Lewis and Ellis Baugh. On April 6, 1947, he married Betty L. Roe, and she survives. He served his country in the U.S Army during World War II. Wayne worked at Hoover Ball Bearing for 31 years as well as farming full time his entire life.
In addition to his wife, Betty, he is survived by his children, Alan (Kay) Baugh of Oregon, Gaylord (Rosa) Baugh of Adrian, Susan (Joe) Liberawski of Tecumseh and Jane Hare of Adrian; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grand- children and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, one brother and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, with the Rev. Terry Clees officiating. Military Honors will follow and be performed by the Annis-Fint VFW Post 1584 Honor Guard of Adrian.
