Elsie was born Jan. 28, 1934, in Lyons, Ohio, the daughter of Lewis and Ellis (Richeson) Baugh. She graduated from Hudson High School.
On Oct. 28, 1956, Elsie married Jack Gillin. Jack, her husband of almost 54 years, survives.
Elsie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church where she served as an ordained Deacon.
In addition to her husband, Elsie is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Robin) Skinner of Tecumseh; son, Dana (Lisa) Gillin of Adrian; four grandchildren, Corinne and Grace Skinner, and Elissa and Nicholas Gillin; and siblings, Wayne (Betty) Baugh of Adrian, Nina (Jack) Clement of Tecumseh, Thelma (John) DeLine of Clayton, Mazie Blain and Mona Summers, both of Adrian.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Baugh, Helen Summers, Ruth Lee, Hazel Baugh and Marjorie Baugh.
The memorial service for Elsie will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Splitt and the Rev. Kathleen Splitt officiating.
