Funeral services for Estelle “Dee” Seffens, 89, of Wisner, LA will be 10 AM, Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Christian Fellowship Church-Winnsboro, with Rev. George Ferrington and Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Interment to follow in Beouf Prairie Cemetery, Fort Necessity, LA, visitation will be 6-9 PM Tuesday at Christian Fellowship Church-Winnsboro, under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dee was born Sept. 3, 1926 in Winnsboro, LA and went to her heavenly home February 27, 2016. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church and was a retired Supervisor for Sustan and LaSavilla garment factories. She loved flowers, gardening and especially her family, it has been said she was also a master cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward Clingan and Annie Twiner Clingan, her husband Webb Wayne Seffens, two brothers, Edward A. Clingan, Jr. and Billy Ray Clingan.

She is survived by one son, Roy Wayne Seffens, one daughter, Rita Seffens Brown and her husband Gene all of Gilbert, LA, one grandson, Gene Brown, Jr., four granddaughters, Dawn C. Seffens, Laci Seffens LeBlanc, Christa Brown Savage and Jane Brown Evans as well as numerous great grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Grandsons serving as pallbearers are Zachary Barnes, Ethan Barnes, Allen Michael Evans, Michael Savage, Jacob Savage and Nicholas Savage.
Other grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers, Jonathan Brown, Jason Etheridge, DeWaynne Peterson, Jarrett Payne and Charlie Payne.
