Dorothy G. Gibson, age 82 years of Shepherdsville, KY, formerly of Adair County, passed away peacefully May 31, 2005 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.She was the daughter of the late Willie and Susie Blair Grant of Adair County, KY.Mrs. Gibson is survived by her loving husband, Bobbie E. Gibson of Shepherdsville, KY; four sisters, Dollie Andrew, Faye Bradshaw and Mary Hadley, all of Columbia, KY and Mae Hadley of Jamestown, KY and three brothers, Ray Grant and Paul Grant, both of Columbia, KY and Jack Grant of Russell Springs, KY. A host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends also survive.Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cooper Memorial United Methodist Church at 9901 Cooper Church Drive in Louisville, KY with Pastor Jim Meador officiating.Burial in the Brookland Cemetery in Brooks, KY.Contributions may take the form of a donation to her church.This obituary is a courtesy to the family by Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
