Henry was confirmed Heinrich at a German church in Long Point, Illinois. The certificate dated 2 April 1882 written in German. He was born 20 February 1865. He married Henrietta Collins who was born 12 May 1966. Heinrich and Henrietta's children were Jona, Esther Minnie, May, Frederick Perry, Artie, Heinrich Jr., Clara Etta, Clarence Norman, Carl Victor, and Hilda. Heinrich and Henrietta lived near Minonk, IL and Rowe, IL. Then they move to the northwestern part of Missouri where his brother August Jr. lived. Their daughter May was born there and lived about 9 months and is buried there. Heinrich had no luck there so he borrowed $200.00 from his brother August to pay his debts and moved back to Illinois. The Prairie Farmers Reliable Directory has Henry listed in 1917 farming in Graymont near Rooks Creek. The land on which he farmed had been under the same ownership since 1888 but did not give a name. He worked on a railroad at sometime [there is a picture of one] and Esther says he ruined his health working in all kinds of weather. They lived at Cornell, Illinois for a time as Heinrich Jr. and Artie were born near there. They also lived in the Graymont area and about March 1919 they moved to a large farm northwest of Walnut, IL. Heinrich contacted dropsy, causing his death
