On June 16, 2022, I received the following from "ALS FIND A GRAVE ID 50068978":
Joseph Stanley Billig, aka as "TONY", was born out of wedlock, father Unknown but the family says he was probably a professor at BSC in Bloomsburg, and his mother, Katie Irene Billig. Tony was raised as a son of his Billig grandparents. This information was from a grandson of Cora Billig Strine: Byron Heller, Freidens, PA.
Based on the obituary of J. Stanley "Tony" Billig, the above is incorrect in saying that he was a college professor. 1910 federal census, Locust Twp., Columbia Co., PA, #233-235, in the household of Martin L. Billig age 50 shows Joseph S. Billig age 4 grandson.
