HOLLY SPRINGS – Eleanor Loretta Alderson Houston, 78, died February 21, 2016, at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee. She was born May 17, 1937, in Potts Camp to George Clyde Alderson and Myrtle Cook Alderson. She was retired from First State Bank of Holly Springs. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Holly Springs.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today, February 23, 2016, at First Baptist Church of Holly Springs with Dr. Joe Lusby officiating. Burial will follow in Red Banks Baptist Cemetery in Red Banks. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today, February 23, 2016, at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Gray Houston Jr. of Holly Springs; a son, Russell Houston III (Marty) of Lakeland, Tennessee; a daughter, Lisa Houston Dodson of Holly Springs; two sisters, Dorothy DeClue of Southaven and Shirley McLeroy of Hickory Flat; grandchildren, Emily Gray Dodson and William Houston Dodson (Ellen Gresham).
Pallbearers are Ricky Alderson, Clark Orman, Mark Jarrett, Wendy Thomas, Randy Alderson, Sammy Aldridge and Jackie Barnett.
