Mr. Braden was born on November 6, 1938 in Borger and was a lifetime resident. He married Fran Strovas on November 28, 1958 in Borger. He was semi-retired CPA for Gary Murrow, which was formerly Dawson and Murrow. He attended West Texas University and was a member of First Baptist Church in Borger. He was also a member of the Borger JayCees, House Committee of Borger Country Club, and past presidnet of the Borger Band Boosters. He was preceded in death by his parents R. R. "Spooks" Braden and Jennie B. (Lasater) Braden.
He loved to work in his yard, sports activities, fishing and his grandkids
He is survived by his wife, Fran of the home, two sons - Mike Braden and his wife, Joy of Borger, Steve Braden and his wife, Cindy of Medford, Oregon, daughter - Stacie Hunt of Pampa, brother - Gary Braden and his wife, Beverly of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, five grandchildren - Sabrina Hawthorne and her husband, Mark, Colt Braden, Chase Braden, Braden Hunt and Ethan Hunt.
Casket bearers will be Jerry Strovas, Denny Strovas, Shawn Strovas, Christopher Strovas, Scott Strovas, Colt Braden, Chase Braden, Braden Hunt and Ethan Hunt.
