Juanita Laura Dickinson, age 88 of Hooks, Texas passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Dickinson was born March 24, 1925 in Pickens, Oklahoma.
She was a homemaker with a special touch for those in need, a member of First Assembly of God Church, Hooks, Texas and is preceded in death by her husband, Joel Dickinson.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Lyn and Kathleen of Colorado and Ron and Alma of Skelleytown, Texas, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three brothers, Clifford and Tom Baggs of Pickens, Oklahoma and Peet Baggs of Valliant, Oklahoma, two sisters, Bobbie Capps of Hooks, Texas and Leota Rudisill of Lakeview, Oregon and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Bates-Rolf Chapel, New Boston, Texas with Bro. Lewis Smith officiating, Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at County Line Cemetery in Pickens, Oklahoma with Rev. Robert Sullivan officiating.
