Thomas D Dalby was the eighth child of Knight and Sarah Ann Bullock Dalby. He married Martha Hickerson on 8th Jan 1836 in Tn. Death was before 1873 and burial was in Lowe's Chapel Cemetery, Cherokee Co, Texas according to Harley Dotson and his genealogy on DALBYS IN CHEROKEE CO., TX. Known children were: (1) Isaac Knight 1836-1891, (2)John Ward Dalby 1837-1921,(3)S F Dalby was killed in the Civil War and left no descendants, (4)Martha Julia Dalby Summers 1849-1889
