John Johnson “Johnny” Myers, 85, of Front Royal, Virginia, died Friday, February 12, 2016, in the Warren Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Prospect Hill Cemetery conducted by Dr. R. Mark Jordon, weather permitting.

Mr. Myers was born April 2, 1930, in Front Royal, son of Ward Emory Myers, Sr. and Stella O. Johnson Myers.

He was a 1949 graduate of Warren County High School in Front Royal, VA, a veteran of the U. S. Army and a past member of the Front Royal Lions Club.

Mr. Myers owned and operated Donahoe’s Florist for 41 years before retiring.

Surviving are his wife Margaret Ford Myers; a brother Ward E. Myers, Jr.; a special niece Paige Turner Settle; a great-nephew Jayson Bender; a great-niece Shannon Bender; a niece Terry Lynn; and a nephew Ward Myers, III.

He was preceded in death by a sister Patsy Page Myers Turner.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Silek, Jeff Settle, Scotty Reid, Bobby Gehringer, Joe Biggs, Andy Cline, James Compton, Arthur Maddox, and Buddy Ruffner.

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

Friends may call at the Maddox Funeral Home at any time.
