Mrs. KATIE VIOLA SOPHIA HAMILTON, wife of John W. Hamilton, 317 East Patrick street, died at her home this morning, after an illness of over a year, aged 69 years. She was the daughter of the late Lawson and Barbara E. Remsburg Biser, Middletown.

Surviving are her husband, these sons and daughters: Clarence W., John L., Maynard B., Paul I. Hamilton, all of this city; Miss Georgianna Hamilton, Brunswick; Mrs. Stewart Fitz, Ellicott City; Mrs. Forrest Covell, this city; brother, Maurice Biser, Chillicothe, Oh.; sister, Mrs. Carrie Boone, this city; 26 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at the M.R. Etchison and Son funeral home; interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
