Jess Ellis McWhorter 71 died yesterday in San Angelo and will be buried here tomorrow afternoon Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. Dr. Julian Atwood officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Higginbotham Funeral Home, and burial will be in Lamesa Cemetery.
Mr. McWhorter lived in Dawson Countv most of the time since 1902.He retired a few years ago and was visiting relatives in San Angelo when he died.
He was born in Brown County September 27, 1878. He never married.
Surviving relatives are a brother, W. B. McWhorter of Lamesa, and a sister Mrs. L. F. Kennedy, also of Lamesa.
