CASTLE HILL – Ida Mae Richardson, 79, died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 10, 2006, at a Mars Hill health care facility. She was born Dec. 7, 1926, in Castle Hill, the daughter of William and Grace (Newbegin) McEachern. Ida loved the outdoors, was an avid fly fisherman and loved to hunt with her father-in-law years ago. She is survived by her husband, Elwyn of Castle Hill; two sons and their wives, Weldon and Donna of Castle Hill, Ralph and Betty of Vera Beach, Fla.; three daughters and their husbands, Alice and Jeffrey Curtis of Castle Hill, Betty and Larry Bragg of Castle Hill and Tina and Mike Simard of Washburn; a brother, Perley McEachern of Florenceville, New Brunswick; three sisters, Bessie Carmichael of Caribou, Joyce Savoy of Farmington and Marion Cochran of Belgrade; 19 grand-children, five stepgrandchildren and several great-grand-children. She was predeceased by two sons, Albion and Carlton; a daughter, Bessie; four sisters, Laura Belyea, Helen Kennedy, Mildred and Barbara Toby; three brothers, Russell, Arthur and Bedford McEachern. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Lucy Lovely officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Extension Cemetery, Washburn.
