In 1920, he was a deputy sheriff in Globe, Gila, Arizona.
In 1925, in the city directory, he was Crier for the US District Court in Phoenix, Arizona, a position he held when he died in 1927.
The cemetery states he was cremated and they have no record of the disposition of the ashes.
