He is survived by his wife, Sophia; two sons, Ralph Jr., Marion, and Chris, Houston; two daughters, Joan Shroat, Indianapolis, and Pat McMannis, Houston; three sisters, Gladys Leisure, Pomona, Calif., Marylou Herniah, Elwood, and Alene Ricks, Gas City; a brother, Jake Adrianson, Gas City; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
