He was born in Gas City, the son of the late Jacob and Cora Mae (Cook) Adrianson. His wife, Charlotte, died May 10, 1997. He worked as a service manager at Mike Anderson Chevrolet, formerly Twin City Chevrolet, retiring after 40 years.

He was a member of Gas City Masonic Lodge No. 645 F&AM and Jonesboro American Legion Post 95. He was past commander of Gas City VFW Post 6728. He was an Army veteran, serving in World War II. He loved fishing and playing golf. He loved his family and grandchildren.

Surviving are a son, Ray D. (Jena) Adrianson, Greenwood; daughter, Connie (Don) Curry, North Manchester; sister, Mary Lou Herniak, Elwood; five grandchildren, Jacob Adrianson, Jeff Curry, Jay Curry, Wendy Hix and Lindsey Roberts; and a great-grandchild, Aidan.

He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Hix.
