She was born April 13, 1920 in Balltown, Kentucky, daughter of the late James E. and Mary Lou (Wardrip) Applegate. Also preceding her in death was her husband Elmer Tate , son, James Tate, Sr., brothers, Wilbur, Franklin, James and Eddie Applegate, sisters, Lula Gude, Stella Bryant, Pauline Basham, and Virginia Phillips, and two brothers in infancy.
Annie retired from General Electric in 1980 after 32 years. She enjoyed reading, quilting and crocheting.
As per Annie’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel is handling her arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tobinsport Cemetery Association or Perry County Memorial Hospital
