Olga was employed during WW II at LaPlant-Choate in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, an Implement Company converted to a War Plant. After the war, she worked for Iowa Mutual Insurance Company until she moved to Rock Island, Texas in 1951, where she entered into marriage with Curtis Lundquist at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nada, TX. To this union, two sons were born. After Curtis died, she worked at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Eagle Lake, TX for 15 years, retiring in 1988.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Curtis Lundquist, son Craig Lundquist, and 2 brothers, Edward and Robert Burda. Olga is survived by her son Keith Lundquist of Austin, TX; granddaughter, Anastasia Lundquist of Houston, TX; dear friend and mother of her granddaughter, Mary Hlozek of Wallis, TX; and special grandson, Steven Hlozek. Also surviving is special niece Roslin Jacobson; 3 sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Olga was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of the Americas Our Lady of the Rosary Court #1595, Christian Mothers Organization, and Universal Living Rosary Association.
