BEAM, Carlton G. - On Friday February 9, 1996, Carlton Glenn Beam of Niagara Falls, aged 70 years. Dear husband of Betty Jean Beam (nee Hindle). Dear father of Carlton David Beam & his wife Barbara of Candlac, Quebec; Janet Leigh Busby& her Husband Keith of Ottawa; Larry William Beam & his wife Thelma of Toronto and Craig Alan Beam of Waterloo. Loving grandfather of Stephanie Beam and Jonathan & Alysha Busby. Son of the late Emanuel & Sarah Beam of Stevensville. Brother of Alden Beam, Howard Beam, Marjorie Locke and Joyce Irons and the late Percy Beam and Helen Hook. Employed at Ohio Brass Company from 1948 until its closing In 1983. After retirement he enjoyed golf, bowling and travel. He was an accomplished wood carver Cremation followed by private interment at Lundy's Lane Cemetery. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday Feb. 13, 1996 at Stamford United Church, 3855 St. Peter Ave., Niagara Falls at 11 o'clock am. In place of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to the Palliative Care Unit 7 of the Greater Niagara General Hospital, The Canadian Cancer Society or the Charity of their choice.
