Wanda Jo Newby Teague, 85, of Bedford, Ky., died Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at The Waters of Clifty Falls.
She was born Nov. 6, 1930, in Bedford, Ky., to Joe B. and Pearl Alexander Newby. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading the Bible, playing bingo, singing and dancing. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
She is survived by two children, Stephen A. Teague and Jeffery L. Teague, both of Bedford, Ky.; three siblings, Wilford B. Newby of Bedford, Ky., Lucille McMannis of Campbellsburg, Ky. and Judy Bishop of Carrollton, Ky.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Gene Teague, who died March 2, 1981; her parents; one brother, Bob Newby; and one sister, Pauline Heveline.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, Ky. Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the service.
