Lois Marie Rice-Trumble , age 86 of Brixey/Wasola, Missouri, passed over at 12 noon on January 22,2016, at Mercy hospital in Springfield, Mo. from complications of Congestive Heart Failure. The Viewing will be held at 10 am, Monday,Jan 25 at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home , Gainesville Mo.

Grave side services will be conducted at Smith Chapel Cemetery in Ozark County, Monday Jan 25, 2016 at 1 pm. Minister EJ Hampton will be officiating.

Lois Marie Rice- Trumble ,"Babe" as she was called by her family was born January 17,1930 in Plattsmouth NE. to the parents of John and Mattie Rice, she was wife of Donald Eugene Trumble , mother of, Marabelle "Sue" Schutte, Ronald Trumble, Arilla "Judy" Peterson, Michael "Mike" Trumble, Patricia Champ, Robert Trumble, Mitchell "Danny"Trumble.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mattie Rice, her husband Donald Eugene Trumble,her eldest son Ronald "Ronnie" Trumble, her brothers Warren "Son", Jack "Bud", Harry, Raymond "Toby" and sisters Ella "Sis" Bullen and Wilma "Pat" Marlowe .

Lois was married on June 7th,1947 to Donald Eugene Trumble and married for 30 years until Donald Eugene Trumble passed over May 7,1977, they had 7 children together, 13 grandchildren ,26 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren and 4 step great great grandchildren.

Lois dearly loved her 10 acre farm where she loved to vegetable garden and tend to her flower beds, she was a wonderful and gifted quilter, she hand cut, stitched and quilted many many quilts over the years. She had a Craft store set up in the back porch where she displayed her crafts that she made such as dolls, pillows, wall quilt hangings, pot holders ,place-mats and her many quilts. She spent many hours quilting while she watched her feathered friends her birds through the living room window where she placed her bird feeders. Fishing was her favorite past time, it was her passion to get away for a few hours so she could fish. Lois Marie Rice -Trumble will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
