Claude Elerding

Born and raised in Seattle, WA. Graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1940. Married his high school sweetheart, Lucille Pearson, and they had two sons. Their first son, Ronald, passed away at age 14 from Cystic Fibrosis. Lucille passed away in 1978.
Claude is survived by his wife of 34 years, his sister, son and his wife and daughters. Claude is also remembered by his 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was a Private in the Army and then held several positions in the Army Corps. of Engineers for 7 years. He then went to work at City Transfer and Storage in Seattle and retired from there after 46 years of service, of which he booked one of the largest moves on the West Coast.

Claude was an honorary member of the Seattle Poggie Club, Lake City Elks, Seattle Executives Association and a Board Member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Washington Chapter.

Claude lived a rich and full life. He touched many lives and hearts, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
