"Albin J Sagan, 69, of Titusville, RD 4, died at 6:10 pm Sunday in the Franklin Regional Medical Center. He was born June 11, 1914, in Oil City, a son of the late John and Catherine Chojnacki Sagan. He was married to the former Adalaide M Steinert in Long Island, NY. Mr Sagan formerly owned Sagan Tractor Sales, which he operated in the Titusville area for several years. He was a member of St Titus Church and also of the Polish National Alliance, Group 2031, serving as president for 20 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs Melvin (Katherine) Wescoat of Titusville, RD 1; Mrs Joseph (Veronica) Fabian of Lebanon and Lorraine Maddox of Titusville, RD 4; two sons, James F Sagan of Erie and Frederick A Sagan of Cooperstown, RD 1; six grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs Stella Krawiec of Oil City; Mrs John (Valli) Wiltanger of Titusville; Mrs Frank (Helen) Baranek of Long Beach, Calif, and Mrs Andrew (Mary) Prizzi of Erie; three brothers, Joseph Sagan of Bayside, NY; John Sagan of Titusville, RD 4, and Frank Sagan of Erie, and several nieces and nephews. Five grandchildren and a brother, Matthew Sagan, are deceased. Friends will be received at the Leo N Hennes Funeral Home, Titusville...A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am Wednesday in St Titus Church with the Rev John T Carter, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be in St Catherine's Cemetery, Titusville."
