"Stella M Krawiec, 72, of 120 Crawford St, Oil City, died Saturday, Feb 16, 1985, at 1:35 pm at the Titusville Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs Krawiec was born July 8, 1912, in Oil City, a daughter of the late John and Kathern (sic) Chojnacki Sagan. At a young age she moved from Oil City to Titusville and attended Titusville schools. She was a member of St Joseph's Church of Oil City and the Rosary Society. She was first married to William Giffin in 1930. He died previously. In 1946 she married Chester Krawiec. He is now a patient at the Veterans' Administration Hospital of Butler. Mrs Krawiec was employed by the Oil City Area Health Center for thirteen years in the housekeeping department, retiring in 1977 due to ill health. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs Willis (Jean) McAlevy of Titusville, Mrs Harry (Julie) Kibbi of Oil City, Robert Giffin of Erie, Francis Giffin of State College, Daniel Giffin of Warren, Mrs John (Jane) Dean of Grand Prairie, Texas, James A Krawiec, John A Krawiec and D Joseph Krawiec of Oil City; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs John (Valli) Wiltanger of Titusville, Mrs Andre[w] (Mary) Prizzi of Erie and Mrs Helen Baranek of Long Beach, Calif; two brothers, John Sagan of Diamond and and Frank Sagan of Erie. A daughter, Dorothy, died in February, 1963; and three brothers, Joseph, Albin and Matthew Sagan, died previously. Friends may call at the Reinsel Funeral Home of Oil City...A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 am Tuesday in St Joseph Church of Oil City. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery."
