Maurine Cowley Breinholt, 83, of Venice, Utah, died November 14, 1995 in Richfield, Utah.
She was born June 16, 1912, in Venice, Utah, to Ray Carlton and Jennie Priscilla Davis Cowley.
Maurine married Sterling Breinholt, June 22, 1933 in Venice, Utah; the marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, June 10, 1954.
Maurine was active in the LDS Church, where she taught many years in the Primary, served as chorister in most organizations, Sunday School Stake Board, and did extensive genealogy.
She taught grade school in Venice for two years and was Post Master in the Venice Post Office for 34 years.
She is survived by husband, Sterling, Venice; two daughters, Arlene B. and (husband) Bartell Jensen, Logan; Analee B. Hickman, Logan; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Vivan C. Stevenson, Boise, Idaho; Ray Garn and Mary Cowley, LaVerkin; Lorna C. Walker, Lindon; Cleo C. and Scott Utley and Gary A. and Colleen Cowley, both Venice.
in death by: parents, granddaughter, Janalee Jensen, brother, William Verna Cowley; son-in-law, Jack Hickman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 18, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the Venice LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Venice Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Venice Cemetery.
